Change display arrangement in OS X/macOS programmatically

If you connected one or more displays to your Mac, you can arrange them in any configuration in the Arrangement pane of Displays System Preferences. To change these preferences, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Displays, then click Arrangement. Drag any of the displays to a different position.
